Privacy Policy
Information Orbit processes
Orbit processes the account information you provide, profile details, saved locations, relationships you add, notes, birthdays, contact methods, tags, interaction history, hangout plans, reminder preferences, AI-draft activity needed to enforce usage limits, and Orbit Pro subscription status. Orbit uses this information to provide, secure, and support the app.
Contacts
When you choose contact import, Orbit opens your device contact picker so you can select one person at a time. Orbit reads the selected contact's name, phone numbers, and email addresses, and only saves contacts you import into your account. Orbit does not import native contact notes or message contacts automatically.
AI drafts
When you request an AI draft, Orbit sends the selected relationship profile, relevant notes, recent activity, and hangout context to Groq to generate the draft. Groq also receives technical usage metadata for the request. Drafts are never sent automatically; you review, edit, and decide whether to send them.
Places and search
When you use city autocomplete or place suggestions, Orbit sends your search text and relevant saved city names to Google Places. Google may also use your network address to return nearby results. Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps Terms.
Service providers
Orbit uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and Edge Functions; Groq for AI message drafting; Google Places for city and place suggestions; RevenueCat for subscription status and analytics; and Apple for App Store distribution and payment processing. The public website waitlist uses Tally. These providers process information only for the services they supply under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Subscription information
Apple processes payments for Orbit Pro. We use RevenueCat to process subscription status so we can determine whether your Orbit account has Orbit Pro access. RevenueCat receives a subscription status and the identifier needed to associate that status with your Orbit account; Orbit does not receive your full payment-card details.
Tracking and advertising
We do not sell personal information or display third-party advertising. We do not use personal information for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Retention and security
Orbit keeps account data while your account is active and deletes user-owned Orbit data when you delete your account. Limited operational records may remain briefly when needed for security, abuse prevention, service reliability, legal obligations, or backup rotation. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Orbit is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13.
Deletion
You can delete your account in the mobile app settings. Account deletion removes your Supabase auth user and user-owned Orbit data through database cascades. You can also request deletion at tryorbitadmin@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this policy when Orbit's features or service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
